By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 20, 2019, a visa-free regime for UAE citizens has been established for 30 days from the date of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan.

Taking into account the composition of the population of the United Arab Emirates, on January 1, 2020, an addition was made to the Presidential Decree , which also established a visa-free regime for 30 days from the date of arrival in Uzbekistan for foreign citizens who have obtained UAE resident status.

According to this legislation, visitors to Uzbekistan must meet the following requirements:

• Visitors must present the original UAE resident visa valid for at least 90 days at the time of entry into Uzbekistan.
• The original national passport must be presented and have at least 180 days validity period. (Holders of travel documents and refugee passports are exempt from this, even if they have UAE resident status, they must apply for a sticker visa).
